Fictional Elements

The Codex of Infinity has its own chemistry. 4 fictional elements that do not exist in real physics — but govern the composition of every entity, weapon, and artifact in this universe.

Real Elements, Mythological Properties

In the Codex, real chemical elements carry magical properties. Gold conducts divine energy. Iron repels spirits. Carbon stores memory.

Entity Composition System

Every entity in the Codex has a chemical composition — a formula that determines its powers, weaknesses, and behavior. A creature made of Carbon + Umbrosina + Eteriu will be shadow-aligned, memory-bearing, and capable of interdimensional travel. Change one element and you get a fundamentally different being.

This is not decoration. The chemical composition IS the entity's DNA. When a creature reproduces, its elements mix with its partner's, creating unstable new compositions — which is why mythological DNA is inherently unstable.
